Grass Manual: Contributors

Each of the individuals listed below has contributed the treatment of one or more genera to the Manual. We are very grateful to all of them. Without them, preparation of the Manual would be impossible (even with them it still seems that way sometimes).

We are also grateful to the many individuals and herbaria that have responded to the questions that we have sent their way. We regret that the number of such questions has been so great that we do not have a complete record of those we have pestered. There are, however, some individuals that merit particular thanks: John Kartesz (Biota of North America, University of North Carolina), who provided the initial list of species to be treated, and Dan Nicolson (Smithsonian Institution) and Kanchi Gandhi (Harvard University Herbaria), who help us with the nomenclatural questions that we cannot answer.
